CHM 575 - Electrochemistry

This course introduces the basic concepts of electrochemistry. Course content builds upon chemical reactivity to include electron transfer and electromotive force. Topics focus on electroanalytical methods, energy storage electrochemistry, and chemical/electrical energy conversion. Applications to advanced energy systems will also be discussed. Cross-listed with CHM 475. Course offered winter semester of odd numbered years. Prerequisite: Admission to the engineering graduate program or permission of instructor.
