RIU 320 - Applied Ultrasound Physics Instruction I

This course will provide theoretical foundations and clinical applications of ultrasound physics and instrumentation, necessary for laboratory and clinical scanning, including an introduction to Doppler principles, performance testing, artifacts, and bioeffects. Offered fall semester. Prerequisite: Admission to the diagnostic medical sonography major. Corequisite: RIU 321.
