PT 682 - Health and Wellness

This course provides a framework and principles for health promotion and wellness across the lifespan. Students will learn to screen and evaluate clients/patients to provide primary, secondary and tertiary prevention services. Through application of the disablement model students learn strategies to prevent disease, injury, impairment, functional limitation and disability. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all previously required courses in the D.P.T. curricular sequence.
