PHY 440 - Advanced Electricity and Magnetism
Study of Maxwell's equations at an advanced mathematical level. Electromagnetic wave propagation in free space and in materials. Reflection and refraction of electromagnetic waves, waveguides and coaxial lines, electromagnetic radiation. Offered fall semester. Prerequisites: PHY 340 and MTH 300.
