PED 240 - Methods for Teaching Fitness

Methods and materials for designing and implementing fitness instruction and assessment in the K-12 school setting. Topics include effects of physical activity and inactivity, current fitness assessment procedures, principles and guidelines for developing health related and skill related fitness, and providing a safe learning environment. Offered fall and winter semesters.
