MTH 405 - Numerical Analysis

Numerical methods in solving equations of a single variable, matrix algebra, numerical differentiation and integration, numerical solution to differential equations, polynomial approximations, and error estimates. Offered fall semester of even-numbered years. Prerequisites: MTH 227, CIS 162; and MTH 302 or MTH 304.
