HST 235 - Africa in World History

Surveys the African continent from prehistory to the present. The course introduces students to the study of Africa from a global perspective and will focus on major issues in African history. Topics will include human origin, migration, technology, slavery, Christianity, Islam, colonization, and independence. Fulfills Cultures - World Perspectives.
