EGR 465 - Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

The fundamentals and applications of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) using a commercially available software, featuring mesh generation, solver settings, numerical accuracy, and postprocessing. Fundamental topics such as governing equations, boundary conditions, and numerical solving schemes are also covered. Crosslisted with EGR 565. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: EGR 365. Admitted to interdisciplinary or mechanical engineering major.
