CIS 340 - Health Care Information Systems
Introduces principles of information systems in healthcare with focus on hospitals and ambulatory care. Individuals with various backgrounds can become familiar with computer applications in medicine and the fundamentals of Electronic Health Records, medical decision making, and other aspects of health informatics. A major project integrates different aspects of informatics. (3-0-2) Offered fall semester. Prerequisites: CIS 233, CIS 333, CIS 353, or CIS 360.
