CIS 251 - Computer Organization

Overview of a computer's organization. Methods of data representation. Organization of an assembly language program. Instruction set: data movement, arithmetic, comparing and branching, and bit manipulation. Procedure calling sequences. Implementation of high-level language constructs. Interrupt processing. (3-0-0) Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisite: CIS 162.
