BIO 412 - Mammalogy

A survey of the class mammalia. Topics will include mammalian evolution, zoogeography, ecology, physiology, natural history, and behavior with emphasis on Michigan mammals. Students will gain practical experience in the techniques of field study, identification, and preservation of mammal specimens. (3-0-3) Offered fall semester. Prerequisites: BIO 121 and BIO 215.
