WGS 370 - Women and the Law
Overview of legal limitations on sex discrimination in the United States and efforts to end discrimination; marriage and divorce; relationships outside of marriage; reproductive rights and biological factors impacting these rights; violence against women; and employment discrimination focusing on gender-based influences that contribute to these human rights violations. Crosslisted with WGS 370. Part of the Human Rights Issue. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: Junior standing.
