SLP 401 - Neurological Foundations of Communication Disorders

This course covers the neurological foundations of speech-language pathology including the underlying neuroscience of communication and related neurogenic communication disorders including aphasia, motor speech disorders (e.g. dysarthria), traumatic brain injury, right hemisphere disorders, cognitive communication disorders (e.g. dementia), and dysphagia. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: SLP 302.
