Survey of major writers of the period, including Pushkin, Lermontov, Gogol, Turgenev, Dostoevsky, and Tolstoy. Supplemental writing skills course. Fulfills Foundation - Philosophy and Literature. Offered fall semester of odd-numbered years. Prerequisite: WRT 150.
