PHY 430 - Advanced Mechanics
Study of classical mechanics at an advanced mathematical level. Systems of particles, rotating coordinate systems, generalized coordinates, virtual work, Lagrange's and Hamilton's equations. Offered winter semester of even-numbered years. Prerequisites: PHY 330 and MTH 300.
