PH 500 - Introduction to Public Health

A survey of the basic principles of public health practice, including an introduction to the infrastructure of public health, the analytical tools employed by public health practitioners, health promotion and prevention of disease and injury, quality in public health, and legal and ethical concerns. Course offered fall semester. Prerequisite: Admission to the master of public health program.
