NUR 640 - Nursing Education Program Development

Principles of development with application to construction and revision of nursing programs in schools and health care institutions. Includes educational philosophies, patterns of organization, certification and accreditation requirements, and social and political influences. (3-0-0-0) Numbers in parentheses indicate the number of classroom-seminar-skills laboratory-clinical laboratory hours per week. Offered fall semester odd-numbered years. Prerequisite: Official admission to the graduate program.
