GRK 350 - Greek Literature and Culture

Readings from selected works such as Herodotus' Histories and the Acts of the Apostles with the aim of integrating sources within their larger historical and cultural contexts and developing reading proficiency in nonattic and postclassical Greek. Special attention to electronic resources in classics and elements of textual criticism. Offered fall semester of even-numbered years. May be repeated for credit when topics vary. Prerequisite: GRK 202
