EGR 656 - Electrical Drive Systems
A second course in DC and AC machines and their industrial applications. Topics include adjustable speed drives, speed control of DC and AC machines, slip energy recovery, synchronous machine drives. A significant course project is required. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: EGR 655.
