EGR 430 - Electromechanics
A course covering the engineering science and design of electrical to mechanical transducers. Topics include magnetic circuit design, solenoids, transformers, DC machines, induction machines, synchronous generators and motors, stepper motors, and an introduction to dynamic systems analysis. Laboratory. (3-0-3) Crosslisted with EGR 530. Offered winter semester. Prerequisites: A grade of "C" or better in EGR 330. Admitted to electrical or interdisciplinary engineering major.
