CIS 253 - COBOL
Introduction to the COBOL language; file management techniques; mid-range computer processing; program design, testing and implementation methodology with emphasis on structured programming. Topics include validation, reporting, file updating; tables; character manipulation; SORT and COPY statements; the Report Writer feature. (4-0-0) Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisite: CIS 162.
