BIO 319 - Global Agricultural Sustainability

The expansion and collapse of societies throughout history has tracked the rise and fall of their agricultural productivity. We will explore how biological principles dictate long-term agricultural productivity and how knowledge of such principles can impact decisions of consumers, farmers, and policy makers. Part of the Sustainability Issue. Prerequisite: Junior standing and completion of the general education Life Science requirement.
