PHI 312 - Medieval Great Philosophers

A study of one or several medieval great philosophers, such as: Plotinus, Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, and Maimonides. Focus will be on the philosophers' writings, but attention will also be given to context and tradition. May be repeated for credit, if content differs. Fulfills one of the Themes requirements. Prerequisite: Prior work in philosophy or permission of instructor.
