MUS 307 - Music Since 1960

A study of stylistic developments in music since 1960, with an emphasis on major compositional figures, the increasing influence of vernacular styles, the development of new electronic media, and developments outside of Europe and North America. Course offered in winter semester of even years. Prerequisites: MUS 120; MUS 231.
