HIR 470 - HIR Field Practicum
This course allows students to perform functions related to health care procedure coding, billing, and electronic medical records (EMR) in a real-world setting. Students will be placed in health care organizations processing medical billing information from the EMR. Students will also practice data communication and professional employment skills. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: HIR 365, HIR 366
