HIR 365 - Medical Reimbursement, Billing II
This course provides the learner with an in-depth knowledge of managed health care, CMS reimbursement methodologies, medical necessity, and other reimbursement scenarios. Billing and reimbursement for CMS, BCBS, Tricare, Commercial, etc. will be taught in a computer lab with the student utilizing a comprehensive simulated medical office software application. Offered fall semester. Prerequisite: HIR 364.
