HIR 364 - Medical Reimbursement, Billing I
This course provides learners with background and basic information of medical billing and reimbursement systems processes via real-life examples. This course will also examine claims submission and follow up processes including posting of payments. Students will use this information in HIR 365 where they will apply the knowledge gained to actual medical software applications. Collections are also addressed. Offered winter semester. Prerequisites: AHS 100, AHS 110.
