Hand specimen study of common rocks, minerals, and fossils. Especially suitable for teacher candidates. Does not count toward the geology major. Lectures, laboratory, and field trips (one full Saturday, one Saturday morning, and three class-time trips are required). (3-0-2) Offered summer semester on demand.
