An exploration of innovative techniques used in the development of new products and systems. Applying idea generation techniques. Balancing divergent thinking with decision making. Recognizing and managing conditions and activities supportive of an innovative environment. Examining the benefits and risks of innovative behaviors. The nature of innovation and technological advancement. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisite: Junior standing.
