CHM 419 - Chemistry in Secondary Education
Expands the perspectives on the teaching of specific topics in an introductory chemistry course. Emphasis on lecture demonstrations, laboratory experiments, computer applications, lab safety and stockroom management. Capstone for the education emphasis. Offered winter semester. Prerequisites: Chemistry major or minor, teacher certification candidate, and 18 credits in chemistry.
