SOC 366 - Sociology of Media

Critically examines the production and consumption of mass media. The roles that mass media play in shaping values, ideology, and human interaction will be studied through examination of the economic and social organization of the mass media, media content, and the ways audiences interact with media. Fulfills one of the Issues/Themes requirements. Offered fall semester.
