PHY 306 - Physics of Sports

An investigation of how the world around us behaves and the physics behind various sporting activities. Why does a curveball curve? Why do swimmers spend so much time on their form? Course will include hands-on experiments as well as a research project. (3-0-0). Fulfills one of the Issues/Themes requirements. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisites: Completion of Science Gen. Ed. Foundation course requirements.
