MTH 223 - Mathematics for Elementary Teachers III
Explores teaching and learning of number and operations, geometry, measurement, patterns and functions, probability and statistics in elementary school mathematics, emphasizing development of number sense, unitizing, mathematical representations, and communication. Exploration through models, strategies, relationships, algorithms, and problem solving. Fieldwork: evaluating and tutoring children. Equivalent: MTH 221 and MTH 222. Prerequisite: MTH 201.
