MOV 202 - Social Cultural Dimensions of Sport
Introduction to sport from a social and cultural perspective. In accordance with national certification standards, contemporary issues such as gender, race/ethnicity, disability, international cultures, the Olympics, sport education, professionalization of sport, societal stratification, youth sport, social problems in sport, societal beliefs and values in sport will be examined. Offered every semester.
