Historical development of United States relations with foreign powers focusing on issues of war and peace. Concentration on significant periods of policy formation and change, with attention to factors determining policy. Fulfills one of the Issues/Themes requirements. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisites: Completion of Historical Perspectives Foundation or junior standing.
