ENG 302 - Introduction to Language Arts: Teaching Writing and Children's Literature

Introduces important research and theory, teaching strategies, issues, and materials related to both children's literature and the teaching of writing, particularly the connection between the two. Students will learn to use literature to foster children's reading and writing development. Does not fulfill requirement or elective in English major or minor. Offered every semester. Prerequisites: ED 337 or PED 265 or PED 266.
