ECO 647 - Environmental and Resource Economics for Managers

Analysis of market and government influences on environmental problems and natural resource use. Topics include: business and government responses to environmental policies; regulatory versus market oriented policies to control pollution; supplies and prices of water, mineral, and energy resources; harvest and protection of biologically renewable resources; and valuation of ecosystem services. Offered fall, winter, spring/summer semesters (offered every third semester). Prerequisite: ECO 542 or equivalent.
