CTH 371 - Theatre History I
The study of the development of theatre from its origins up to the 17th century. The course emphasizes dramatic theory, playwriting styles, theatrical production styles, physical theatres, and the impact of theatre on society. Specifically, the course examines Asian Theatre, and the development of Western Theatre. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: WRT 150.
