CLA 495 - Notions of the Classics (Capstone)
A critical examination of the concepts of "the classics" and "classicism" as a context for the contemporary field of classics, emphasizing the shifting range of the terms and the different ways both they and the classical world have been and can be understood, adapted, and transformed. Required for majors. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: Senior standing.
