CAP 305 - Sports Promotion

Deals with the promotion and sponsorship of sports and the active lifestyle industry, including corporate motivation and involvement. Studies the effect of media on sports through critical analysis. Emphasis is placed on defining and applying communication theory, concepts, and strategies. Fulfills one of the Issues/Themes requirements. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisite: junior standing.
