BIO 530 - Ecosystem Biogeochemistry

Biogeochemistry is the integrative study of interactions between organisms and the environment. Understanding ecosystem change requires knowledge of processes occurring in the atmosphere, oceans, land, ice, crustal minerals, and living organisms. This course will be a forum for learning about the cycling of elements within and among Earth's major ecosystems. Prerequisites: Graduate standing or permission if instructor.
