BIO 416 - Advanced Genetics Laboratory
Experiments with both prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms will involve techniques of gene induction, ELISA, DNA extraction, isolation and cloning, transformation, protein translation and analysis of genes ligated into expression vectors. (0-0-4) Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: BIO 376; BIO 411 or BIO 414 recommended (may be taken concurrently).
