SW 600 - Cultural Competency for Social Work

This course examines cross-cultural practices and values, with emphasis on the commonalities and differences among individuals, groups, organizations, and communities in American society. Emphasis is given to critical analyses of people based on age, ethnicity, race, gender, religion, spirituality, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, veteran, and/or disability status. Offered fall, winter, and spring/summer semesters.
