SOC 401 - Contemporary Sociological Theory

A critical survey of social theorists who extended and sometimes challenged the sociological perspective. Emphasizes the development and application of theory in relationship to contemporary issues. Covers theorists from post-World War II to the present. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: Six hours in sociology.
