PLS 327 - Politics of Developing Countries

An examination of government and political economy in developing countries. Topics include nation and state building, authoritarianism and democratization, and contemporary policy issues, including population growth, urbanization, hunger, and economic structural adjustment. Offered winter semester. Prerequisites: PLS 103 or junior standing.
