PLS 307 - American Constitutional Law II

Civil liberties and civil rights. Constitutional principles, theories of constitutional interpretation, Supreme Court rulings, political consequences of rulings, and political and legal factors that influence Supreme Court decisions, especially civil rights decisions. Part of the Civil and Human Rights Movements theme.
Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: PLS 102 or junior standing. Part of Civil Rights theme.
