PHI 330 - Legal Philosophy

Introduction to the nature of law, law and morality, principles and practice, freedom and determinism, common sense and science, punishment, necessity, and coercion, mental disease, all arising directly from the careful study of a substantive body of law. Especially valuable for pre-law students.
Offered fall semester, even-numbered years. Prerequisite: Prior work in philosophy or permission of instructor.
