PHI 314 - Late Modern Great Philosophers
A study of one or several later modern great philosophers beginning with Kant, such as Fichte, Schelling, Hegel, Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Marx. Focus will be on the philosopher's writings, but attention will also be given to context and tradition. May be repeated if content differs. Prerequisite: Prior work in philosophy or permission of instructor.
