HST 235 - Africa in World History

Surveys the African continent from pre-history to the present. The course introduces students to the study of Africa from a global perspective and will focus on major issues in African history. Topics will include human origin, migration, technology, slavery, Christianity, Islam, colonization and independence. Offered fall semester of even numbered years. Fulfills World Perspectives.
