The internal structure, composition, and processing of metals, polymers, and ceramics are related to their properties, end use, performance and application in engineering. Materials selection exercises are included. Laboratory. (3-0-3) Offered winter and spring/summer semesters. Prerequisites: CHM 115 and PHY 234 or PHY 231.
